Here are a few frequently asked questions about our polyurethane resin larp armor.  Please don't hesitate to contact us if you query is not answered here.

How durable is it?

It is a very strong material.  It will not split or crack under normal use or become brittle with age.  It is widely used in the film and TV industry both for main character armours and for stunt armour.

Are you open to the public?

We are happy to receive visitors by appointment only.  Please contact us to arrange this.

How is my order sent?

All our items are sent by either courier or Royal Mail.  All packages are sent via trackable methods so will require a signature on delivery.  You will be notified by email as soon as your item is shipped.

Please note we re-use packaging where possible to help protect the environment.

 How long will my order take to arrive?

Our aim is to ship all orders within 20 working days (working days are Mon-Fri and do not include national holidays).  However, if you have a specific date you require you items for, please contact us before ordering to ensure we can meet your deadline.

 Will it fit?

All sizes are listed on each item.  There is a lot of adjustment in the majority of the body armour but please contact us before ordering if you are unsure whether something will fit.

Are you making more items?

We are continuously developing new items and improving on our existing products where possible.  Please contact us with any particular designs and we may be able to help.

Returns and Refunds

If you are unhappy with the product for whatever reason, please contact us immediately on receipt of the item to arrange a return and refund.  We will not refund until the item is returned to us in unused and undamaged condition. 

We are unable to refund shipping costs unless the item is faulty.  Please do not return items before contacting us.

Orders from overseas

If you wish an order to be shipped to a country not listed in the checkout options, please contact us for a shipping quote.

 Can I order a custom design?

We keep our prices competitive by being able to make many copies from our moulds.  We can make items to your design or add group logos to our existing items, where possible. This will incur a moulding cost and a minimum order quantity.

It may also be possible to custom paint any of our items to your own colour scheme (at additional cost).

 Is it safe for live role playing?

All edges are smooth and there are no sharp parts, so it is safe to use in any system (but please check their larp armour rules before purchase).

 What material is the armour made from?

The armour is made from one of two versions of a polyurethane resin material.  There is a semi-flexible hard version which is used for helmets and armour, and a much softer material that we use for our imitation leather and cloth.

 How durable is the paint?

The paint will not crack or flake off, however it will scratch with wear and tear like any other painted surface.

What does Gift Wrapping entail?

Your order will be wrapped in heavy-duty gold or silver paper with a matching bow. We can include a message with your gift if required, please note this in the special instructions box. The gift wrapped order will be packed inside an ordinary cardboard box for shipping. We do not include a paper invoice in gift wrapped parcels.
